We learned new things and brought new ideas home
We were fantastically welcomed and the hosts couldn't be better. As usual we followed a working plan and a had a glimpse at the Italian culture.

We managed to find some time during the girls' prom to snap a picture of the group together and all dressed up for the occasion!
In order (and we're missing Rita Tavares!!): Prof. João, Isabel, Catarina, Morgana, Prof. Cristina aka Queen Cristina, Rita, Dra. Patrícia, Miss Prime-Minister Diana, Inês Trindade, Prof. Emília, Maria, Prof. Jorge After an exhausting process of selection (or maybe not), the portuguese Erasmus + group managed to find eight amazing 11th grade students who will carry on the project started by the original eight girls, alongside our teachers.
On the meeting, we all got to know each other and, most importantly, had the chance to explain to our new-in colleagues what this project is all about - which also worked as a great way of remembering the extraordinary times we have had together so far. There were many pictures shown, many memories relived and, of course, a lot of planning involved throughout our meeting, which seemed to me as an amazing start to an amazing cooperative project! With all that, there's only one thing left to say: WELCOME! On the last day we had our final MANAGEMENT MEETING in MARIENBERGE, Elkhausen, and then flew back home.
Will miss u all! On Thursday we were taken to Mainz and welcomed in the RHINELAND PALATINATE STATE PARLIAMENT. After lunch, were had the opportunity of listening to an MP - Member of Parliament - and ask him some questions. Our girls were quite curious and asked a few. We were REALLY proud of them and the interest they showed about everything during this mobility. To end this day our hosts invited us to a wonderful farewell dinner full of joy, music and happy people. we will sure miss everyone!
On Wednesday the whole day was dedicated to the MEDIATION workshop. Once again we learned a lot, we roleplayed several situations and interacted with the group. We had the chance to engage with our hungarian and bulgarian partners more and to work with them in a more direct way. Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium has been using this method for some years and the results have been excellent so far. They provided us with outstanding materials and by the end of this working day we were even awarded with a MEDIATION completion CERTIFICATE. Our students were highly commited and performed the tasks quite easily. We, the 5 teachers from Portugal, decided to implement MEDIATION at our school starting next year. The plan is easy to build and the results are expected to make the relationship between students much better. It seems that we brought good weather along so why not benefit from it and work outside? After the certificate ceremony, Italy and Portugal had the chance to share the work they had done from November till now. Our girls were quite at ease and relaxed. Their presos were entirely dobe by them. Italy After dinner we had a MANAGEMENT MEETING to plan the work for the following year. All teachers were present and many languages were spoken!
Early departure to Cologne and fresh news on the newspaper! Wow! We are famous!! First a visit to the Cathedral where the Wisemen's skulls are kept In the afternoon we took the train to Bonn and visited the BUNDESREPUBLIK MUSEUM. It was a fantastic experience. Hearing stories about Germany's division spoken by someone who actually had lived it, was quite touching Last but not least, we had dinner at the 'Egg paradise'. Luckily we didn't lay an egg the following day! :)
The trip back home was great as usual: lots of laughing and singing! We finally had the chance of meeting our partners And they came from 5 different countries We were welcome in the school's auditorium by the school's Principal, the Mayor and the Landtag We watched some performances Exchanged some gifts And then we visited the school Clique aqui para editar After lunch we started our WORKSHOP about MEDIATION under the supervision of Rita Münzel. She is an oustanding teacher and we're really glad to have had the chance of working with her. 1st there was a general meeting with the 5 countries, in which Jens explained the planning. German was not a problem and soon we'll be experts! We were then divided in smaller groups to start working with Rita (and all her patience!) :) Four of our girls ready to kick off. Coffee break (and delicious cake...) And back to work! Then we had dinner but... the best was yet to come!! Georg, the hostel owner, organized a BUNTER ABEND (colourful night) with medieval dancing and games. We had a whale of a time! It was a fantastic day! We can't wait for more!
Welcome to our "last-meeting-before-Germany" update! In this session, we took care of the final details for the trip, starting with the distribution of topics that each of the girls would speak in the presentation and the correction of German expressions. We also made the flights check-in, so we definetely won't be staying on land! Germany is only one week away, and we can't wait to get this life-changing experience.
Auf wiedersehen! On our 6th session, we were delighted to finally have all the survey´s graphics to conclude our project, thanks to teacher Jorge! We had to choose the best way to show our results so that everyone can understand our main goal and see the differences between many subjects considering the gender, age or country. Also, we had to choose wisely our presentation design so it can be appealing to everyone who will see it!
The meeting in Germany is very close and we can´t wait to show you all our work and results! Below are some photos of our productive session: After a two week break, we are back on track! We're very excited that so many people actually took the time to answer our survey and we can't wait to take our conclusions and share them with the other countries' groups. In this session, we started doing our presentation. First, we're trying to do some statistics to reveal what issues are more concerning to people in the different countries and different ages. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered and that's going to give as some work to do on the next weeks.
We leave here some images of this day (the girls, (some of) the teachers and the graphics): On the first week of January our ERASMUS+ sign arrived at school. It was placed just on the main entrance so that all can appreciate it.
It looks great. Today we had our 4th session on Colégio Paulo VI.
We decided to put some phrases on the questionary about attitudes. We think that it is important to know more about the behaviour between peoples. After this, we finally finished our surveys! Now it´s time to share it with students and non students in Portugal and countries that are in the project. We are planing doing it with all the students in Colégio Paulo VI. When we get as many of surveys as possible, we will analyse all the information. Today we had our 3rd session in Colégio Paulo VI with the aim of developing the questions of the survey. After writing down several ideas about young people’s problems, from family to professional matters, we started working on the questions and decided to create two surveys (one for students and another for non students). All the students, teachers and psychologist have been an essential contribution to the development of this project with their help, availability and ideas. Stay tuned for further information!Today we had our 2nd session in Colégio Paulo VI in order to find out the best way of getting the information we need to build our project. We came up with the idea of making simple questionnaires since it's the easiest form to collect and organize information. As usual, we had the incredible support of all the elements of Erasmus Group, it has been an amazing experience for us to get in touch with different points of view and learn new tools that will improve our project. Stay tuned!1st session with Cristina, Jorge and João on the 9th December. Brainstorming ideas and a very attentive audience. It was an excellent starting! Further info will be updated by the girls.
